In short
Myrak does not sell data, use targeted advertising or currently set advertising cookies. The questionnaire is used to understand your enquiry, prepare the first conversation and reply to you. For any question or request concerning your data: studio@myrak.ch.
1. Data controller
Myrak Studio
Creative studio operated by Auriane Défago
Canton of Vaud, Switzerland
studio@myrak.ch
For any data protection enquiry, contact the studio at studio@myrak.ch.
2. Scope and principles
This notice applies to visits to myrak.ch, project enquiries, email exchanges and call bookings. Myrak processes data transparently, proportionately and only for defined purposes. The Swiss Federal Act on Data Protection is the primary legal framework. Where the GDPR or another mandatory regulation applies to a particular situation, the corresponding rights and obligations remain reserved.
3. Data processed
- Technical data: IP address, date and time, requested page, referring URL, browser, device, operating system and security information recorded in server logs.
- Contact data: name, email address, company or project name.
- Project data: type of need, whether a website exists and its address, current situation, priorities, free-text context, timing, preferred first conversation, requested time window and language used and an optional sketch.
- Booking data: name, email address, time zone, selected slot and any answers added in the booking module.
- Correspondence data: email content, attachments and communication history.
4. Purposes
- operate, secure and improve the website;
- understand and qualify an enquiry;
- reply, propose a call and prepare a potential offer;
- perform an engagement and manage the relationship;
- comply with legal or accounting duties and defend legal rights.
Data is not sold, is not used for automated prospecting without prior information, and is not subject to exclusively automated individual decisions or profiling.
5. Form and email
The questionnaire sends structured answers to studio@myrak.ch through a secure function hosted on Vercel and the transactional email service Resend. If that service is unavailable, the website prepares the same message in the visitor’s email application. The website does not store responses in a Myrak prospect database: they are sent by email. Technical providers may nevertheless retain their own operational logs in accordance with their policies and service configuration. A sketch cannot be attached to the prepared email. The data sent is described in section 3.
6. Call booking
Discovery calls are scheduled with Cal.com. When the module is opened and a booking is made, the required information may be sent to Cal.com, including name, email address, time zone, selected slot and answers added by the visitor. Cal.com processes this data under its own terms and privacy policy.
On pages offering booking, the Cal.com script loads when the page is visited. This request may send technical data to Cal.com, such as the IP address and browser information, even before the calendar is opened. Information entered to book is sent when the booking module is used.
7. Analytics, cookies and local storage
The website uses Vercel Web Analytics and Speed Insights to measure page traffic and performance in aggregate. These tools do not set advertising cookies, and Myrak sends them no personal identifiers or form content. They may process technical information such as the page visited, referrer, device type, browser, approximate country and performance metrics. Local storage only remembers the language and sound-design preference; session storage manages the introduction and page transitions.
The interactive Studio animations use scroll position, pointer movements and clicks only to calculate the display in the browser. The website does not record or transmit these positions or the graphic marks created. The cursors and dialogues are a visual narrative, with no connection to a live collaboration service. These effects add no form, cookie or persistent storage.
8. External services and social media
The website uses Vercel for hosting, server functions, audience measurement and performance metrics; the domain and its DNS zone are managed through Hostinger. Enquiries are sent with Resend and bookings are offered through Cal.com. Instagram and LinkedIn links open the relevant platforms without embedding social feeds. The Inter and Patrick Hand typefaces are loaded through Google Fonts. When these resources load, the relevant providers may receive technical data, including the IP address and browser information.
Privacy policies of the main providers: Vercel · Resend · Cal.com · Hostinger · Google.
The Grug Hand typeface and the website’s own SVG symbols are served from myrak.ch without a font-provider request for these resources. The Studio page’s social icons remain simple links to Instagram and LinkedIn; their appearance loads no embedded social feed.
9. Recipients and processors
Project information is accessible only to the Myrak Studio team and, where necessary, partners directly involved in preparing or carrying out an engagement. The technical providers used are Vercel for hosting and server functions, Resend for transactional email, Cal.com for booking, Hostinger for the domain and DNS, and the email providers used by Myrak and the sender.
10. International transfers
Vercel, Resend, Cal.com and Google may process data in the United States, the European Economic Area or other countries where their subprocessors operate. Myrak selects providers that publish data-protection commitments and, where required, relies on contractual mechanisms available under applicable law. Links to the main providers’ policies are included in this notice.
11. Retention periods
- technical logs: according to the active hosting plan and only for as long as required for security and diagnostics;
- enquiries that do not proceed: twelve months after the last exchange;
- project records: for the duration of the contractual relationship, then as long as required for follow-up and the defence of rights;
- accounting records and supporting documents subject to the legal duty: ten years;
- booking data: twelve months after the call, unless it becomes necessary for project follow-up.
Data is then deleted or anonymised, subject to a legal retention duty or the defence of rights.
12. Security
Myrak implements proportionate technical and organisational measures, including HTTPS encryption, restricted access, strong passwords, updates and appropriate backups. No transmission or storage method can guarantee absolute security.
13. Your rights
Within the limits of applicable law, you may ask whether data about you is processed, obtain legally required information, request correction, delivery or deletion, object to certain processing and withdraw consent for the future. Identity verification may be required. Send requests to studio@myrak.ch. You may also contact the Swiss Federal Data Protection and Information Commissioner (FDPIC).
14. Changes
This notice may be updated when the website, services or legal requirements change. The version published on this page at the time of consultation applies. Last updated: 30 September 2026.
